USMCA Review Series

Since its inception, the USMCA has redefined trade across North America, creating new opportunities for businesses, workers, and consumers. But as we approach the first formal review, the agreement faces new challenges and opportunities for refinement.

What has changed since the USMCA took effect? What should a review process look like? What should be in the updated 21st Century Agreement? Who wins? Who loses? What will be its fate in the US Congress? The discussions held in the coming months will shape the future of trade, investment, and economic cooperation across the region as the three countries begin the formal process of reviewing the agreement.

In February 2025, WITA will launch its 2025-2026 USMCA Review Series, bringing together leading voices in trade policy to analyze the review process, address unresolved issues, and propose solutions for the agreement’s future. This series will feature both online and in-person events, including as part of our Trade on the Hill Series, and as part of our Embassy and Ministry Network events.
