Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said the country has no choice but to resist US sanctions because Washington has no genuine intention to negotiate with the Islamic republic. “The US is not ready to hold negotiations at all and its measures are aimed at breaking up the Iranian nation,” said Mr Rouhani on Wednesday in his first reaction to the US tightening oil sanctions this week. “We have to make the US regret its decision for which we have no choice but to resist.”
