In 2021, the U.S. and EU created the Trade and Technology Council (TTC) to build bridges between the US and EU on key technology issues and to better coordinate approaches to key global technology, economic, and trade issues, in areas such as microchips, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
The first meeting of the TTC took place September 29, 2021 in Pittsburgh. This second meeting takes place May 15-16, 2022 in France.
