WITA’s NextGenTrade® Launch Event

To kick off the NextGenTrade™ series, WITA hosted an expert panel to discuss emergent trade issues that will be at the center of trade discussions, negotiations and disputes in the years to come. The political and economic context we are operating in today was described by the panel, in order to set the stage for a robust examination of the future of trade.

The discussants for this event were: Jeffry Frieden, Professor at Harvard University’s Department of Government; Susan Lund, Partner of McKinsey & Company and leader of McKinsey Global Institute; and Bruce Stokes, Director of global economic attitudes at Pew Research Center.
