On Thursday, October 3rd, WITA hosted a panel to discuss the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). They examined its impending expiration, which is in 2015. Additionally, they discussed support for renewal from the Obama Administration and numerous congressional leaders, as well as African Ambassador’s recommendation for AGOA’s renewal.
