We’ve all heard about the “new” version of Nafta — known in the US as the USMCA — and what it means for the trade balance between the United States, Canada and Mexico. Trump got Canada to relent on its dairy tariffs, while Mexico and Canada made sure they were protected from any future tariffs on cars. Everyone seems happy. Well, sort of.
But the biggest winners aren’t American udder-squeezers, or lumbering auto manufacturers, but a small selection of companies that are already swallowing the world: the Silicon Valley tech giants.
