We are accepting applications for Spring 2025 internships! WITA is seeking current undergraduates or fresh graduates with an interest in international relations, trade, and/or economics for Spring internships. If you are looking for an extended commitment beyond an internship, we invite you to explore our WITA Academy Fellowship Program, which is a paid, in-person, 12-month fellowship. For more information, please click here. WITA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, dedicated to providing a neutral forum for the open and robust discussion of international trade issues. We rely heavily upon the support and assistance of our interns. In return, interns are given tremendous opportunity to learn about the global trade community, the Washington political environment, and the substance of international trade. Students also learn valuable office skills, and about event management and professional networking. We are currently accepting applications for the Spring semester until December 1, 2024. Please send us your resume and cover letter to internships@wita.org. Interviews will commence in November/December. Students with a demonstrated interest in international trade policy are strongly preferred. Those fitting this description will do well to apply. Master’s candidates as WITA interns are rare but do occur. Schedules are flexible, but full-time interns should generally be available to work 32-40 hours in person per week. Students and recent grads will receive a monthly stipend, plus a transportation stipend for use on Washington, DC metro area public transportation. All interns must be eligible to work in the United States. Fall internships will run from September through December. Spring internships will run from January through April or May. Summer internships will run from May through August. |
